Front page News News MDI produces a policy paper on smart mobility MDI produces a policy paper on smart mobility 31.10.2018 The City of Hämeenlinna and Growth Corridor Finland are taking part in an international project the North Sea Baltic Core Network Corridor, which aims at developing solutions for smart mobility and travel chains in the Baltic Sea Region. MDI takes part in the process by producing a policy paper on smart mobility concepts and service development in urban nodes for European Commission and national decision-makers. MDI’s work starts by analysing a broad background material, implementing few expert interviews, and organising two intensive innovation labs, which gather all relevant stakeholders together. The first Innovation Lab will be organised in Hämeenlinna, Finland in June and the second one in Warsaw, Poland in September. Policy paper will be finalised in October. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
