Front page News News International innovation camp for Finnish Rural Network Support Unit International innovation camp for Finnish Rural Network Support Unit 4.5.2017 Finnish Rural Network Support Unit organizes an international innovation camp in 26th – 29th June in Jyväskylä region. MDI is responsible for facilitation and organization of the camp, which brings together rural developers and representatives of the rural networks of the EU Member States (ENRD). The camp will continue the work initiated in 2016 at the Cork 2.0 conference where measures to respond to the future challenges of rural regions’ and agriculture were defined. The objective is to brainstorm and develop concrete measures and experiments related to the themes defined in Cork 2.0 Conference & Declaration. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
