Front page News News MDI evaluates the homelessness programmes MDI evaluates the homelessness programmes 10.12.2018 MDI is a sub/contractor for the evaluation of three homelessness programmes commissioned by the Ministry of the Environment. The evaluation will be carried out together with the Rehabilitation Foundation and Referenssi Oy. The evaluation provides information on the attainment of the goals of the Homelessness Programmes (PAAVO I&II and AUNE), the functioning of the Housing First Principle and the effects of homelessness programmes. In addition, the implementation of work designed to combat homelessness at the municipal and province levels will also be examined. As a result of the assessment, recommendations will be made on the issue of homelessness in the future. The evaluation will be completed in June 2019. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
