Front page News News Mapping of Nordic test and demonstration facilities Mapping of Nordic test and demonstration facilities 2.5.2017 MDI is participating in a joint project in which Nordic test and demonstration facilities are being mapped. Test and demonstration facilities offer knowledge-intensive manufacturing industry the kind of environment where they can test their ideas and get information for their operations to enhance competitiveness. The project is carried out together with Danish Technological Institute, who is leading the consortium, and with Swedish Kontigo and Norwegian Sintef. MDI’s task is to execute a survey over national actors who offer test and demonstration facilities and to present a few good examples of successful usage of test and demonstration facilities. Along with a report, an interactive tool is created as a result from the project, with which it is possible to search for different actors offering test and demonstration facilities. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
