We got as many as 71 applications! We feel fortunate. Quality of applications was very high. There were many trainee applicants with a lot of competence and experience. We invited nine applicants to the interviews and chose Ms. Maria Yli-Koski to be our new MDI trainee. Maria studies Economic Geography at Turku School of Economics. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
