Front page News News European Innovation Partnership for the renewing agriculture European Innovation Partnership for the renewing agriculture 5.11.2013 European Innovation Partnership, EIP brings new tools for renewing agricultural industries. EIP aims at developing grass root level ideas into innovations. It connects the needs of agricultures with the research results. MDI organised a workshop for the EIP seminar in Hämeenlinna on four topics: criteria for EIP groups, themes, research and communication. The contents of EIP will be worked on during the next year when the applications for themes are due, too. The official EIP groups begin their work in 2015. This will include the farmers and other actors that form a group to work on a specific practical question for a specific time period. Experimenting, piloting and testing are central principles. MDI is eager to be with in the EIP development also in the future. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
