Front page News News MDI to sketch governance model to the Rail Baltica growth strategy MDI to sketch governance model to the Rail Baltica growth strategy 4.2.2013 The development zones are gaining more and more attention both in Finland and internationally. MDI takes part in designing the growth strategy for Rail Baltica, which is a common initiative by Helsinki and Berlin and all the biggest cities in between. The initiative focuses on studying the possibilities of building railway connection (Helsinki-Berlin) and growth for the whole region. MDI acts as a subcontractor to KPMG giving ideas on what kind of governance model there should be in implementing the growth strategy. The work is ordered by the city of Helsinki. MDI leads the co-creative process of developing, piloting and sharing practices for wellbeing in Sustainable Cities News 12.10.2022 The challenge bundle work is the cross-cutting co-development of the “Sustainable City” programme, co-ordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, with the aim of producing and sharing information, knowledge and solutions to the challenges linking cities’ management and practice in the area of leading work towards sustainability. The work produces concrete development measures, new ways of doing things and peer learning.
