Front page News News MDI Navigates Eastern Uusimaa in Developing Archipelago MDI Navigates Eastern Uusimaa in Developing Archipelago 28.1.2015 Eastern Uusimaa, locating right next to Helsinki, has developed its archipelago with a developing programme since 2012. Beautiful archipelago has enormous potential in, for example, tourism, but as a development environment it is not one of the easiest as there are growing tensions between different interests and also the development funding is in a flux. MDI helps the Local Development Company Posintra to draw a “navigational chart” to develop coastal areas of Porvoo, Sipoo and Loviisa. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
