Front page News News MDI takes part in designing vision and road map for arctic excellence in Finland MDI takes part in designing vision and road map for arctic excellence in Finland 26.10.2012 Tekes – the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation – has launched a strategic opening for mapping out the arctic operation environment and its possibilities in Finland. The objective is to design a vision and a road map for the concrete activities for the development and utilisation of arctic excellence. The project focuses on analysing the sectors of arctic excellence in Finland and it seeks to point out the areas where both research excellence and businesses are interlinked to form a harmonic and competitive value chain. MDI takes part in the work as a subcontractor to the University of Oulu (SMARTIC – Roadmap to a smart Arctic specialization) and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland (ArctiComp, road map for arctic excellence – strategic openings of Finland). Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
