Front page News News MDI guides sign posts MDI guides sign posts 23.5.2013 MDI carries out a guiding plan for tourist and other attraction services in the cities of Porvoo and Loviisa and municipality of Lapinjärvi, located in Eastern Uusimaa. Project includes inventory of sign posts, prioritizing of sign renewal and an evaluation on the need and urgency of new signs. Project aims at developing year-round tourism in the region. Participative project is carried in close co-operation with local authorities and companies. The project has a special twist in representing the Beauty and the Beast of Sign Posts -competition, which is open to all tourists during vacation season, and Amazing Race in Eastern Uusimaa, where tourist services and functionality of signs are tested in real action. MDI co-operates in project with SITO Ltd. The project is ordered by Posintra, regional development company of Eastern Uusimaa, and it will be finished in August 2013. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
