Front page News News Innovation camps for rural development Innovation camps for rural development 16.5.2013 MDI sets up innovation camps for the development of rural areas in the regions of Forssa, South-East Finland, Central and North Karelia, Kainuu and North Ostrobothnia, and Fell Lapland from August to November 2013. The camps take 50 hours (Wed-Sat) and they focus on seeking new ideas and operation models for the development of rural areas. All the key persons and stakeholders in the corresponding region are invited to take part in the camps as well as a group of outside experts and referees. The detailed content for the camps were be defined in a workshop 15th May. MDI was appointed for the work by the Rural Network Unit of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. MDI leads the co-creative process of developing, piloting and sharing practices for wellbeing in Sustainable Cities News 12.10.2022 The challenge bundle work is the cross-cutting co-development of the “Sustainable City” programme, co-ordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, with the aim of producing and sharing information, knowledge and solutions to the challenges linking cities’ management and practice in the area of leading work towards sustainability. The work produces concrete development measures, new ways of doing things and peer learning.
