Front page News News MDI Provides Grants for Master’s Thesis in Regional Development MDI Provides Grants for Master’s Thesis in Regional Development 13.1.2015 MDI has opened a call for applications related to academic Master’s Thesis on Regional Development. The thesis may study e.g. municipal structure, co-operation and development of municipalities, analysis and development of regional and local innovation environments, place-based-policy in cities and in rural areas, renewal of regions and development competencies, networked regional development and leadership in networks, crowdsourcing, evaluation and impact research of regional development programmes, or new methods for development and facilitation (e.g. experimental and fast development). The applications (with research plan, CV, and transcript of records) are expected by 31 JAN 2015 at info@mdi.fi. MDI will make the decision on grants no later than 15.2.2015. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
