The result analysis of the structural funds programme completed

MDI has been evaluating the Structural Funds Programme 2014-2020 in Finland in co-operation with the Rehabilitation Foundation, University of Eastern Finland, and TK-Eval. During the first half of 2018, the evaluation focused on the results and profitability of the programme, at the same time being a part of a larger evaluation set-up. The result analysis is the second interim report of the evaluation. Since spring, the evaluation has moved on to analyse the impacts of the programme, and results are expected before the end of 2018.

The second interim report outlines how and in what kind of circumstances has the programme implementation taken place. The implementation has crossed the halfway mark in terms of time span, and at the moment a total of 20,2 percent of the funding has been used. The evaluation points out the activities which have produced the most significant part of the results. Generally, the programme has been implemented profitably in terms of funding used. There are differences within the programme, thus the overall tone and performance remain good.
