Front page News News Darkest Day of the Year Turned out to Be the Brightest for MDI Darkest Day of the Year Turned out to Be the Brightest for MDI 22.12.2016 Yesterday, December 21, we had winter solstice – the shortest and darkest day of the year. Luckily the day turned out to be the brightest of all for MDI. The Prime Minister’s Office in Finland announced the results of the latest call for proposals as research projects in Government’s analysis, assessment and research activities. MDI took part in eight research plans, six of which were awarded with funding. MDI is in charge and leading a consortium in three research projects and takes part in three other as a subconductor. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
