MDI helps to move invention activities to Uusimaa ELY Centre

Finnish support for invention activities will be transferred from the Foundation for Finnish Inventions to Uusimaa Centre of Economic Development, Transport and the Environment in the beginning of 2014. New organisation seeks for better and more accessible services for inventors through versatile financial instruments such as structural funds, more effectiveness and efficient project management, transparency of grant decisions and better legal protection for inventors. MDI will facilitate a series of three workshops for key players. Current state of the invention activities will be analysed, as well as vision, objectives, strategy map and tools for steering will be produced during the workshops. Work is done for the Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland, and it will be finalised by March 2014.
