MDI scanned business services

MDI drafted a summary of publicly supported services for innovation, international operations, and start-up companies in the Finnish regions. The study focused on the services provided by the member organisations of the Finnish Science Park Association Tekel and the Association of Regional Business Development Companies SEKES, Regional Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, universities and universities of applied science – 130 organisations in total. To sum up, these organisations have allocated 2 261 working years and use 224 million euro annually to business services. The study was ordered by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy (TEM) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (OKM). The study was financed by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment in North Ostrobothnia (Oulu).

The study was published as an online publication by TEM in November 2012 (in Finnish).
