Front page News News MDI scanned business services MDI scanned business services 15.11.2012 MDI drafted a summary of publicly supported services for innovation, international operations, and start-up companies in the Finnish regions. The study focused on the services provided by the member organisations of the Finnish Science Park Association Tekel and the Association of Regional Business Development Companies SEKES, Regional Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment, universities and universities of applied science – 130 organisations in total. To sum up, these organisations have allocated 2 261 working years and use 224 million euro annually to business services. The study was ordered by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy (TEM) and the Ministry of Education and Culture (OKM). The study was financed by the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment in North Ostrobothnia (Oulu). Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
