Front page Evaluation of Salo’s Strategy and EVP Analysis Evaluation of Salo’s Strategy and EVP Analysis Date: 10.3. –30.6.2025 Evaluations Information Services and Data Analysis Strategies and programmes The aim of the strategy evaluation was to take an in-depth look at: 1) the relevance and progress of the goals and actions set for the strategy period, 2) the effectiveness of council work and collaboration, including areas for development, and 3) changes in the operating environment and their impact on the strategy. MDI carried out the evaluation through document analysis, a survey for executive team and political decision-makers, key stakeholder interviews, and a results workshop. MDI produced a report summarising the key findings of the evaluation of Salo’s city strategy and council work. The report included the evaluation results as well as recommendations for the upcoming strategy period and council operations. As part of the work, an operating environment analysis was conducted by examining Salo’s Kuntakortti and producing a municipality-specific analysis using the EVP Index. Keywords: Strategy
