Front page Population projection data for employment areas in Uusimaa at the municipal level Population projection data for employment areas in Uusimaa at the municipal level Date: 1.10. –31.10.2024 Information Services and Data Analysis MDI sold population projection data on the projected population development of the municipalities and employment areas in Uusimaa to the Helsinki-Uusimaa Regional Council. The data package was based on MDI’s 2024 population projection data, from which a data set was collected and compiled on the future demographic development of the municipalities of the Uusimaa Regional Council. The data was supplemented with several different regional classifications relevant for the Uusimaa Regional Council. The data set contained information on population development in the period 2024-2040 in four scenarios by age group, gender and language group (Finnish, Swedish, foreign and minority languages of Finland).
