The service compiles key statistics describing the Vaasa region, including data on population, employment, business activity, regional economy, and regional attractiveness. MDI has been responsible for maintaining and developing the information service from 2020 to 2025. The service was implemented in cooperation with both VASEK and the City of Vaasa. The information service features informative and versatile customizable visualizations that are easily accessible to VASEK, the City of Vaasa, as well as other regional stakeholders, companies, and residents. Furthermore, the data can be utilized in VASEK’s continuous communications and in monitoring the regional situation.
