Front page References Training day for the board members of three Leader groups in Southern Savo Training day for the board members of three Leader groups in Southern Savo Date: 20.9.2019 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps Three Leader groups in Southern Savo, Finland, were helped to prepare for the coming EU programming period. As a kick off to the preparations, MDI facilitated a training day for the board members and hired employees of three Leager groups – Piällysmies, Veej’jakaja, and Rajupusu. During the training day, discussions centred on success stories and the development needs in the current programme, identifying trends and change factors in the near future while highlighting development issues in rural areas. In addition, some conclusions were drawn on how to develop the board meetings further and on the best ways of working. The training day took place in Savonlinna, 20th September 2019.
