Front page The Future Outlook for Businesses in Loviisa The Future Outlook for Businesses in Loviisa Date: 1.11. –13.12.2024 Research, studies The project aimed to create a comprehensive overview of the future prospects for businesses in Loviisa, focusing on opportunities for growth and internationalisation, competence and recruitment needs and challenges, as well as ownership transition situations. Based on the findings, a development plan was prepared to enhance services related to business growth, internationalisation, and ownership transitions in the region. The study included an interview survey conducted with a selected group of target companies, concentrating on their future outlook, as well as competence and recruitment needs and challenges. In addition, a broader group of companies participated in an online survey. The project was carried out at the end of 2024. FCG Design and Engineering Ltd. was responsible for the project, while MDI handled the analysis and presentation of the results. Keywords: Companies Industries
