Front page The future of gerontological social work in Satakunta, workshop series The future of gerontological social work in Satakunta, workshop series Date: 1.5. –30.9.2022 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps The number of elderly people will increase significantly in Satakunta (as in other welfare regions) by 2040. In the welfare region of Satakunta, a new service package for the elderly will be organised as part of the health and social services reform. MDI implements four workshops for those involved in the preparation of the welfare region. The task of the workshops is to examine the content of gerontological social work, the roles of different professional groups and the placement of services for the elderly as part of the structure of the welfare region.
