Front page Support of strategy work for Leader West Saimaa Support of strategy work for Leader West Saimaa Date: 9.2. –15.4.2021 Information Services and Data Analysis Strategies and programmes MDI carried an analysis of the current state of Leader West Saimaa to support the preparation of the local development strategy 2021-2027. In addition, a virtual workshop for the Leader group board was carried out. A comprehensive analysis of the current situation included a description of the area, its population, level of education, employment, entrepreneurship and livelihoods. The virtual workshop reviewed the current state of the area, development challenges and opportunities, and development needs.
