Front page Support and sparring of the population scenarios in Tampere Support and sparring of the population scenarios in Tampere Date: 1.1. –30.5.2018 Information Services and Data Analysis Research, studies The Strategy Unit in the City of Tampere and the political actors of the city have defined population scenarios for 2030. There are three different scenarios: 1) Moderate: the population grows with approx. 2 166 inhabitants per year, 2) Strategic: the population grows with approx. 3 504 inhabitants per year and 3) Great: the population grows with approx. 5 150 inhabitants per year. MDI drafted scenarios per age groups to make these scenarios and studied their effects on the economy, investments, renovations and housing. Keywords: Population and migration
