Front page References Sub-regional population projection for Sastamala Sub-regional population projection for Sastamala Date: 1.11. –15.11.2021 Information Services and Data Analysis Research, studies MDI implemented a population projection in three scenarios up to 2040 for the city of Sastamala and, additionally, for six different parts of the city. The aim was to describe the future development of different areas of the multi-centre city from different starting points and to produce information to support decision-making. In addition to demographic trends, the projection examined the development of the age structure and key age groups during the projected period. Keywords: Population and migration Vitality
