Study on Education Completed Alongside Employment

MDI acted as a partner to Innolink in a study commissioned by the Employment and Service Centre for Continuous Learning, focusing on the feasibility of continuous learning programmes. The study explored effective and cost-efficient models for delivering education alongside employment. Its objectives were to identify best practices in training services, assess the costs of education for employers and participants, and develop proposals for pilot training packages.

The work included a literature review, data analysis, interviews, expert workshops and the development of a criteria framework to support the allocation of Jotpa’s funding. MDI conducted the literature review and contributed to the production of analyses and formation of pilot models. The study supported Jotpa in the development, implementation, and scaling of training models.
