Front page Strategy evaluation and strategy renewal Strategy evaluation and strategy renewal Date: 1.4. –31.10.2021 Strategies and programmes The strategy evaluation collected and analysed document-based information and the views of Council members through a survey as well as interviewing other stakeholders. The strategy evaluation was carried out during April-May 2021. The renewal of the strategy took place after the new Council started its work in the autumn of 2021. The strategy renewal process challenged basic assumptions and starting points, renewing strategy content with the help of the blue ocean strategy framework. MDI planned and facilitated a strategy seminar for the Council and future workshop for the Government and supervisors. On the basis of these interventions, MDI compiled a proposal for a strategy for the city of Pieksämäki. The content was folded into the visual look of the city of Pieksämäki.
