Front page References Sparring the regional cities Sparring the regional cities Date: 2.5.2013 –31.1.2014 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps Regional cities are the second or third cities of their regions. Their success reflects to everyday of millions of people. These 50 regional cities are often important centres of local services and motors of potential growth. Ministry of the Employment and the Economy is starting a pilot in order to develop regional cities. MDI organised three workshops to spar the regional cities in piloting. The first workshop supported the applications, second prepared the piloting and third was a kick off seminar in January 2014.
