Regional Development and Vitality Analysis of Vaasa-Mustasaari

Vaasa and Mustasaari carried out a joint municipal structure survey (more information in Swedish https://fusionskollen.fi/). The Management Group commissioned regional development and vitality analysis from MDI. The survey included a comparative statistical and strategic Nordic analysis. The analysis emphasized the future orientation and looks at the strategic significance of a potential joint venture from a broad regional perspective. The results of the work was reviewed in a seminar on September 25.
