Policy paper on smart mobility

The City of Hämeenlinna and Growth Corridor Finland took part in an international project the North Sea Baltic Core Network Corridor, which aimed at developing solutions for smart mobility and travel chains in the Baltic Sea Region. MDI took part in the process by producing a policy paper on smart mobility concepts and service development in urban nodes for European Commission and national decision-makers. MDI’s work started by analysing a broad background material, implementing few expert interviews, and organising two intensive innovation labs, which gathered all relevant stakeholders together. The first Innovation Lab was organised in June 2018 in Hämeenlinna, Finland in June and the second one in Warsaw, Poland in September 2018. The policy paper was finalised in November 2018. The paper was written in English.
