Kotkan-Haminan seudun asuntomarkkinatilanne & asuntopolitiikka -selvitys

The main goal of this study is to provide information supporting the development of housing in the Kotka-Hamina region. The study investigates the supply of and demand for housing in the Kotka-Hamina region and related issues such as volumes, types, geographical location, ability to meet demand and general housing preferences. The work includes a light document review, interviews, a resident survey, statistical analysis and reporting. Based on the collected information, recommendations are made for the development of housing in the municipalities of the region, defining more specifically the types of housing provided, their location, the regional structure and coordinated prioritisation and the scheduling of development projects. The client is Cursor Oy, a development company in the Kotka-Hamina region. The work will be completed by the end of November 2020.
