Despite the structural change in both private and public sector the key figures have been positive. The regional actors’ ability to react quickly to changes has been thanked. MDI assessed the impacts of JOSEK to Joensuu region during the last decade. Data was collected in various ways and a jury assessed the impact, too. The work was finished in 2014.
