Front page References Ikaalinen Climate Action Plan Ikaalinen Climate Action Plan Date: 12.10.2023 –31.10.2024 Strategies and programmes MDI and FCG experts are developing a climate action plan for Ikaalinen that complies with national climate legislation requirements. The plan includes a background analysis, emission reduction goals, current emission assessments, scenarios and measures to reduce emissions. Ikaalinen’s climate action plan also incorporates an evaluation of the municipality’s carbon sinks and stocks, along with adaptation measures for climate change. Tools for monitoring and communicating the municipality’s climate efforts are also defined. The plans are tailored to meet the municipality’s specific needs and employs participatory methods.
