Front page References Growth analysis, study on investment promotion in Finland Growth analysis, study on investment promotion in Finland Date: 1.10. –30.10.2020 Research, studies As an assignment for the Swedish Tillväxtanalys, MDI carried out a survey on what was done to promote investment in the Nortvolt battery plant in Kotka-Hamina region and, among other things, how and what kind of organisations participated in the work and how the cooperation went, both nationally and locally. This work placed a particular focus on how local organisations in the Kotka-Hamina region seek to attract investment to the area. As part of the work, MDI will interviewed 20–30 of the actors involved in this case while in addition filling in the background details on the basis of the available documentation.
