Front page References FRUSH – sparring a startup event for circular economy FRUSH – sparring a startup event for circular economy Date: 15.8. –31.10.2017 Evaluations Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps FRUSH was an event of circular economy gathering experts, developers, companies and financiers in 2017 to Forssa’s old Mill. The aim of the event was to generate new circular economy business models and accelerate the growth of start-up companies in the field. FRUSH included speeches, workshops and pitching. The event provided the latest knowledge, as well as the opportunity for networking and finding funding opportunities. FRUSH was organised by Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), and funded by Hämeen liitto, the City of Forssa and SEUTU programme. MDI was sparring HAMK for organizing the event, as well as doing background work to activate, engage and inspire participants. The MDI team was in this case strengthened by Erkki Virtanen. He was one of the initiators and activists of the circular economy in Finland in his former position as the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Employment and the Economy. Keywords: Environment
