Front page References Facilitation of the regional forum Facilitation of the regional forum Date: 2.9. –30.9.2022 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps In the Saarijärvi-Viitasaari region, various forms of regional cooperation have existed for a long time, e.g. in regional development, business policy and lobbying. The municipalities of the region, together with key stakeholders, subsequently organised a regional forum. The purpose of this forum is to decide on the guidelines for the regional development work and to discuss the regional strategy, the municipalities’ financial contributions to the development work and the financial prospects, e.g. as for the JTF. The central task of the regional forum is, in accordance with the regional strategy, to anticipate the future and to take care of the interests of the region. MDI planned and facilitated the forum.
