Front page Facilitation of International Conference on Marine Spatial Planning Facilitation of International Conference on Marine Spatial Planning Date: 15.1. –2.2.2024 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps MDI facilitated an international maritime spatial planning conference in Gdansk from January 31 to February 1, 2024. The conference was organised by eMSP NBSR which is a project on Maritime Spatial Planning. Together with 15 partners from 8 Member States around the North Sea and Baltic Sea regions, the project is tasked with working on recommendations for the implementation phases of MSP, with a specific focus on the topics of ‘Ocean Governance, the Ecosystem-Based Approach, Sustainable Blue Economy, Monitoring and Evaluation and on Data, technology and Communication. During this conference, the project promoted deliverables, reach out to MSP planners, policy makers, researchers, other projects and NGO’s etc., in order to promote further dissemination and collaboration opportunities.
