South Ostrobothnia, Central Ostrobothnia and Ostrobothnia are the top regions in terms of both employment rate and unemployment rate in Autumn 2021. The common challenge for these regions is to find skilled workers for both the private and public sectors. MDI organised and facilitated a webinar focused on considering new ways to attract skilled workers into these regions. MDI presented the employment situation in the regions and facilitated the discussion. About 80 people attended the event from the TE-administration, municipal employment services, personnel service companies, educational institutions and companies providing education and training services.
