Evaluation of the Regional Development Programme of Northern Savo

The Regional Council of the Northern Savo ordered the mid-term evaluation of their Regional Development Programme for 2011-2014 from MDI. The most central goal was to find out the impact of the program to regional development in Northern Savo. Renewal of local economy was the most central issue in the evaluation. Results of the mid-term evaluation were utilized in steering the development measures in the current program period as well as in designing forthcoming program for 2014-2020. The evaluation started in summer 2012 and was finalized by the end of the year.
