Front page References Evaluation of the effects of the production incentive in the AV industry Evaluation of the effects of the production incentive in the AV industry Date: 26.3. –31.12.2018 Evaluations During the spring of 2018, together with Ramboll Management Consulting Oy, MDI evaluated the effects of Business Finland’s AV industry production incentive. The evaluation included, among other things, the impact benefits of the AV incentive for Finland and the direct and indirect effects of the incentive on the regions. The evaluation of the AV industry’s production incentive was strongly linked to the evaluation of the effects of the Finnish Film Foundation’s production support carried out by MDI and completed in May 2018. The Finnish Film Foundation’s production support and Business Finland’s production incentive together promote the operating conditions of domestic film production and increase the number of international co-productions.
