Front page References Evaluation of Interreg Central Baltic Programme Evaluation of Interreg Central Baltic Programme Date: 1.10.2018 –15.8.2019 Evaluations Strategies and programmes Interreg Central Baltic Programme 2014–2020 is one of EU’s cross-border co-operation programmes implemented around the Baltic Sea Region. Programme area includes Finland (incl. Åland island), Sweden, Estonia, and Latvia. Programme has four thematic priorities and the Programme seeks to add value through cross-border cooperation to address common challenges. An international consortium led by MDI was appointed to carry out the impact evaluation of the programme. MDI has Swedish Kontigo AB and Latvian Safege with country-expert from Estonia as partners. The impact evaluation focused on the outputs and results of the funded projects and outlined key findings and point out some development needs.
