Front page Effectiveness of the regional and local rural development plans 2007–2013 Effectiveness of the regional and local rural development plans 2007–2013 Date: 1.1. –31.10.2015 Evaluations MDI carried out a study on the implementation and effectiveness of rural development plans of 15 Centers for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY centres) and 55 local action groups (LAGs). The study also contributed in recommendations for further developing the qualitative and quantitative indicators. MDI acted as the lead partner in the consortium that consists of Avaintaito Osuuskunta Suomi, Ruralia Institute at the University of Helsinki and Spatia at the University of Eastern Finland.
