Front page References Carbon footprint calculation model for manufacturing industry Carbon footprint calculation model for manufacturing industry Date: 7.11. –31.12.2023 Workshops, webinars, lectures, camps This collaborative effort between MDI and FCG aimed to enhance understanding of the green transition and carbon footprint concepts among manufacturing companies in the Forssa region. The goal was also to highlight climate action opportunities for business development. A series of three workshops were conducted to coach local company representatives and support them in initiating targeted climate actions. The workshops covered the principles of carbon footprint calculation along with topics such as the green transition environment, financing options and climate communication. The objective was to help companies strengthen collaboration in relation to their climate efforts. Additionally, the project developed a calculator for Forssa Business Development. This tool allows companies to estimate their business emissions compared to others in a simplified manner.
