Front page News News MDI to study the connections between municipalities and regions MDI to study the connections between municipalities and regions 4.2.2019 MDI is involved in the pre-study phase of the project regarding regional and municipal tasks, coordinated by the Ministry of Finance. In the reform, the jurisdiction of and interaction between municipalities, regions and the government will be transformed. As such, the need to create optimal conditions for municipal and provincial negotiation procedures and interlocutor work has been identified in the regional government, health and social services reform and in the Future Municipality reform. The preliminary study identifies ongoing interfaces programmes, projects, surveys, and legal bases and describes the interface work done in the provinces and municipalities.
