Front page News News MDI to study the connections between municipalities and regions MDI to study the connections between municipalities and regions 4.2.2019 MDI is involved in the pre-study phase of the project regarding regional and municipal tasks, coordinated by the Ministry of Finance. In the reform, the jurisdiction of and interaction between municipalities, regions and the government will be transformed. As such, the need to create optimal conditions for municipal and provincial negotiation procedures and interlocutor work has been identified in the regional government, health and social services reform and in the Future Municipality reform. The preliminary study identifies ongoing interfaces programmes, projects, surveys, and legal bases and describes the interface work done in the provinces and municipalities. MDI leads the co-creative process of developing, piloting and sharing practices for wellbeing in Sustainable Cities News 12.10.2022 The challenge bundle work is the cross-cutting co-development of the “Sustainable City” programme, co-ordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, with the aim of producing and sharing information, knowledge and solutions to the challenges linking cities’ management and practice in the area of leading work towards sustainability. The work produces concrete development measures, new ways of doing things and peer learning.
