Front page News News MDI provides solutions for City of Kauhava’s attractiveness factors MDI provides solutions for City of Kauhava’s attractiveness factors 30.9.2018 MDI helped the city of Kauhava to draft a new strategy. Previously Kauhava had identified the need of determining its main attractiveness factors. MDI executed profiles for the main groups who had moved in and also for those groups who had moved elsewhere. The main groups were analyzed based on their age, occupation, education and income level. As a part of the project, MDI identified different financial incentives what Finnish cities use in order to be more attractive and competitive. As an outcome of the project, MDI provided multiple solutions for the city of Kauhava in order to enhance their attractiveness. The project was finished in September 2018. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
