Front page News News MDI involved in the preparation of the employment strategy for the Kaustinen region MDI involved in the preparation of the employment strategy for the Kaustinen region 29.5.2017 MDI spars the Kaustinen region (Halsua, Lestijärvi, Kaustinen, Toholampi, Perho and Veteli) in the preparation of an employment strategy during the autumn of 2017. The work is ordered by Kokkotyösäätiö, which coordinates the Satellite project and the preparation of the employment strategy. The municipalities of the Kaustinen region have committed to strong cooperation in promoting employment. The Satellite project aims towards comprehensive development and stronger coordination of employment matters in the region. MDI helps regional actors to build a common future vision for promoting employment and define objectives and contents to achieve these objectives. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
