Front page News News MDI evaluates administration of ESIF MDI evaluates administration of ESIF 24.8.2017 ESIF consists of five structural and investment funds, of which Finland utilises four: European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), European Social Fund (ESF), European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD), and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EFF). MDI is part of a European consortium that has been appointed to carry out an evaluation by DG Regio. The evaluation focuses on studying ESIF administrative costs and burden 2020 and includes survey and expert interviews to the managing authorities. The evaluation will be carried out for the most parts in autumn 2017 and finalised by June 2018. MDI works as a national expert for Finland as a subcontractor to a Luxembourg-based Spatial Foresight. MDI leads the co-creative process of developing, piloting and sharing practices for wellbeing in Sustainable Cities News 12.10.2022 The challenge bundle work is the cross-cutting co-development of the “Sustainable City” programme, co-ordinated by the Ministry of the Environment, with the aim of producing and sharing information, knowledge and solutions to the challenges linking cities’ management and practice in the area of leading work towards sustainability. The work produces concrete development measures, new ways of doing things and peer learning.
