Front page News News MDI to evaluate Interreg Nord and Botnia Atlantica MDI to evaluate Interreg Nord and Botnia Atlantica 16.1.2018 MDI takes part in a Nordic consortium that has been appointed to carry out the evaluation of Interreg Nord and Interreg Bothnia Atlantica programmes. The evaluation consortium is lead by Kontigo from Sweden. Alongside MDI, also Samfunnsøkonomisk analyse from Norway takes part in the evaluation. The programme evaluation will be carried out for the most part during 2018. Interreg V A Nord is an EU-program supporting cross-border cooperation in order to strengthen the economic and social development. Areas included in the program are north Norway, north Finland, north Sweden and Sápmi (which spreads over all three countries). The programme area covers the regions of Lapland, Oulu region and Central Ostrobothnia in Finland. Botnia-Atlantica is an EU-programme financing cross-border cooperation projects in Sweden, Finland and Norway. The programme is a part of European Territorial Cooperation, even called Interreg, where regions are developed through joint efforts across national borders. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
