Front page News News MDI carried out a survey on freedom of choice within social and health services in Satakunta region MDI carried out a survey on freedom of choice within social and health services in Satakunta region 9.4.2018 MDI carried out an electronic customer survey regarding freedom of choice within social and health services in Satakunta. The aim of the survey was to identify the customer groups using the services and their views on the importance of freedom and possible choices. The other aim was to get direct feedback about the alternatives regarding the freedom of choice and other feedback for the preparation. Region of Satakunta has invested in hearing and gathering feedback from the residents and in studies and analyses that support decision-making. Creating an open e-survey on issues related to freedom of choice for the residents is a logical continuum for leading with knowledge and usage of data in decision making. Almost 3900 answered the survey. On the basis of the answers almost four out of five respondents (78,8 %) would prefer their choice to the social and health centre they currently use.
