MDI Academy continues – apply for the training programme for regional developers! 15.1.2021 The MDI Academy and its training programme for regional developers, launched last year, will start up again in March. The training programme supports the work of leaders and specialists in public administration, its developers and administrative partners. The programme is specifically designed for those working in the municipal sector, development corporations, the provinces and regional governments. The educational offer provides a comprehensive ‘snapshot’ of current trends and issues in regional development. The training programme includes three training modules and a study tour. Participants gain new perspectives, insights and networks through completion of the programme. The themes discussed in the Academy include, urban and rural development, the vitality of regions and the use of knowledge in regional development among others. Multi-functional development of station areas News 28.11.2023 In the early autumn period, MDI and FCG worked on the development of the Asemanseutu project which is part of the project package – Vitality for Urban Regions. The work undertaken clarified the basic models for the multi-functional development of station areas, as well as providing recommendations for their development and financing.
